Our commercial diving teams deliver class-standard in-water surveys and interventions that keep vessels trading without the cost and delay of dry-docking. Each dive is executed under a formal dive plan and Job Safety Analysis agreed with the vessel's Master, with continuous topside supervision and full communications to the diver.

Scope typically covers systematic inspection of the entire underwater hull envelope — port and starboard shell plating, bilge keels, bulbous bow and flat bottom — together with the rudder assembly, propeller blades and boss, and all sea chest gratings. Fouling coverage, coating condition, anode wastage and structural anomalies are documented in real time using high-resolution underwater stills and continuous video, and compiled into a formal report with time-stamped imagery for Owners and attending class surveyor.

For cleaning operations we use rotary brush equipment calibrated to preserve the vessel's anti-fouling paint system, restoring hydrodynamic performance and improving fuel economy without damage to the coating. Before/after video is issued as verification of the delivered condition.

Our marine engineering division supports Owners, Managers and Charterers with preventive and corrective maintenance across main and auxiliary machinery. Work is planned to the vessel's PMS and executed under written procedures, with mobilisation possible in every major East African port and at anchorage.

Typical engagements include machinery condition inspections ahead of dry-dock, riding-crew support during voyages, in-situ repairs to pumps, valves and pipework, and technical consultancy for repair scoping and specification. Where a repair is undertaken alongside an underwater intervention, the two teams operate under a single lift plan so the vessel's port stay is not extended.

Our 24/7 emergency response desk in Mombasa coordinates rapid mobilisation of engineers, spares and specialist equipment to vessels in distress or at short-notice port calls anywhere on the East African seaboard.

Our survey division provides independent inspection and reporting for shipowners, ship managers, P&I clubs, hull underwriters and cargo interests. Every survey is delivered to a documented methodology, with photographic evidence, verified measurements and a clear narrative of findings — suitable for use in claims, class attendance and commercial negotiation.

Scope covers draft surveys for bulk cargo quantification, on-hire and off-hire condition surveys, hold cleanliness inspections, damage and casualty surveys, and pre-purchase condition inspections. Reports are issued in the format required by the instructing party and are supported by our engineering and diving teams where subsea or machinery input is needed.
